PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a threshold by a novel method not existing before, in a technique which displays a photographed image of an on-vehicle camera on the basis of the fact that a distance from a substance up to a vehicle becomes shorter than a reference distance.SOLUTION: A reference distance is set shorter in the case that an absolute value of the acceleration of a vehicle is a second value which is larger than a first value compared with the case that the absolute value of the acceleration of the vehicle is the first value (step S211). Alternatively, the reference distance is set longer in the case that a cut angle of a steering wheel of a vehicle is a second angle which is larger than a first angle compared with the case that the cut angle of the steering wheel of the vehicle is the first angle (step S212). Alternatively, a detection distance is set longer on the basis of the fact that a photographed image of an on-vehicle camera is not displayed on an image display device when a setting changeover switch is operated, and the detection distance is set shorter on the basis of the fact that the photographed image of the on-vehicle camera is displayed on the image display device when the changeover setting switch is operated (step S213).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
