PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary window of excellent design that may be closed smoothly by wind pressure.SOLUTION: A rotary window includes a window frame, a shoji screen formed by the window frame and closing an opening through which an indoor side communicates with an outdoor side, and a horizontal rotary shaft rotatably supporting the shoji screen on the window frame. The rotary shaft is positioned so as to keep the shoji screen in an open state by self-weight of the shoji screen. In the open state, the shoji screen has either one of an upper portion and a lower portion above or below the rotary shaft protruded and inclined toward the outdoor side, and an area of the either one of the upper portion and the lower portion is larger than an area of the other of the upper portion and the lower portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
