PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that allows for providing control such that a power supplied to electronic devices is instantly turned off without receiving a supply of power from a backup power supply when power from a commercial power source is cut off by user's manipulation.SOLUTION: A power supply halt determination circuit 192 monitors a commercial power supply input state generated by an input power supply state detection unit 1911 to check if power from a commercial power source is being cut off or not. When "off" manipulation on a power supply manipulation input unit 18 is detected via a power supply manipulation information detection unit 190, the power supply halt determination circuit 192 determines that a cutoff of power from the commercial power source was caused by user's manipulation and feeds a power-off signal to a power supply control circuit 193. Upon receipt of the power-off signal, the power supply control circuit 193 instantly cuts off power to secondary-side power supply circuits 194 without receiving power from a backup power supply circuit 195, which instantly halts operation of the secondary-side power supply circuits 194 and cuts off power to loads 40, turning off electronic devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
