PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic position detection device with which it is possible to detect the position of a slider relative to a shaft with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A magnetic position detection device 1 comprises: a shaft 20 extending in the horizontal direction and arranged so that N and S poles are alternated in the axial direction; a slider disposed so as to be able to move in the axial direction relatively to the shaft; a magnetometric detection unit 40 attached to the slider and including a first magnetometric element 41 and a second magnetometric element 42 for detecting a magnetic flux generated by the shaft; and a position detection unit for detecting the position of the slider relative to the shaft on the basis of the detection value of each of the first and second magnetometric elements, each of the first and second magnetometric elements being arranged so as to hold the shaft therebetween in a first area R1 and a second area R2 not adjacent to each other among the areas divided by a vertical line VL and a horizontal line HL passing a center line CL of the shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
