摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorbent capable of increasing gas barrier to target gas by reducing a gas adsorption speed while retaining gas absorption performance, and a vacuum heat insulation material using the same.SOLUTION: A gas adsorbent has an adsorption ability to target gas. The gas adsorbent contains a gas adsorption composition which is copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 type zeolite, and has a silica to alumina ratio in a zeolite skeleton of 10-50 inclusive, and a dealuminization ratio of the ZSM-5 type zeolite of 15% or more, and absorbs at least nitrogen. Alternatively, a gas adsorbent has an adsorption ability to target gas. The gas adsorbent is a sintered compact of a compression molding obtained by mixing a gas adsorption composition which is copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 type zeolite, and has a silica to alumina ratio in a zeolite skeleton of 10-50 inclusive, with a water-absorbing material, and a dealuminization ratio of the ZSM-5 type zeolite constituting the sintered compact is 15% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
