摘要 The present invention provides a method for predicting the risk of a patient for developing adverse drug reactions, particularly 5-aminosalicylate nephrotoxicity (5-ASA nephrotoxicity). The invention also provides a method of identifying a subject afflicted with, or at risk of, developing 5-ASA nephrotoxicity. In some aspects, the methods comprise analyzing at least one genetic marker, wherein the presence of the at least one genetic marker indicates that the subject is afflicted with, or at risk of, developing 5-ASA nephrotoxicity.
