Disclosed are a video processing method and device, the method comprising: receiving first video content from a content delivery network (CDN), the bit rate of the first video content being greater than a preset threshold value; performing transcoding processing on the first video content to obtain second video content having a bit rate less than the preset threshold value; sending the second video content to the CDN. The present invention solves the problem in the prior art of it not being possible to provide a high definition video playback service for a low bandwidth user, thereby implementing the provision of a high definition video playback service for a low bandwidth user, and improving the user experience. |
