A user equipment (UE) power management method and power management device, the method comprising: obtaining power consumption parameter of an application installed in a UE (101), the power consumption parameter being used to indicate the information of power consumed by power consuming resources invoked by a running application, the power consuming resources comprising system resources of the UE and/or device resources of the UE, the device resources being other hardware resources other than the processing resources on the UE, and the system resources comprising operating system resources and/or platform system resources of the UE; determining power consumption state of the application based on the power consumption parameter (102); generating a power consumption report of the application based on the power consumption state of the application (103), thus obtaining a more accurate power consumption statistics result.
