PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveyance device which has superior paper feed precision.SOLUTION: There is provided a paper conveyance device 40 of a printer 100 which prints information, the paper conveyance device 40 including a first conveyance mechanism 43 having a tractor 44, a second conveyance mechanism 53 arranged between the first conveyance mechanism 43 and a printing head 26 and having rollers, a third conveyance mechanism 63 arranged downstream from the printing head 26 and having rollers, and a detector 51 which detects an actual paper feed amount Ta of the first conveyance mechanism 43 and a rotation state of the rollers of the second conveyance mechanism 53. Defining a paper feed amount T1 of the first conveyance mechanism 43 as a reference paper feed amount Tb, the paper conveyance device has relations of paper feed amount T3 of third conveyance mechanism>paper feed amount T2 of second conveyance mechanism>paper feed amount T1 of first conveyance mechanism, and paper holding force F3 of first conveyance mechanism>paper holding force F2 of second conveyance mechanism>paper holding force F3 of third conveyance mechanism, and detects the actual paper feed amount Ta and the rotation state of the rollers to adjust the paper feed amount T1. |
