<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for estimating rolling load of temper rolling of a steel strip capable of accurately estimating the rolling load within a short calculation time at an online usable level when performing the temper rolling of the steel strip. <P>SOLUTION: The method for estimating the rolling load of the temper rolling of the steel strip accumulates an operating parameter setting condition, actual elongation, and actual rolling load in the temper rolling of the steel strip as a database.
