A method for producing medical information from digital CT scan or MRI data, characterised in that it involves carrying out the following steps using a computer: - defining, by means of successive iterations, an ascending series of sets Ei of voxels, and defining, for each value of i, an set called shell Ki (16, 18, 20, 22, 24) corresponding to the set of voxels belonging to Ei and not belonging to E(i -1 ); - determining a quantity Gi correlated to a thickness of shell Ki; - determining a target segmentation Ec, in connection with the observation of a predetermined evolution of the value of Gi; - optionally, determining an item of medical information relative to the target segmentation. The invention also concerns a method and an assembly for CT scanning or MRI, and a computer programme for implementing same. |
