The present invention relates to a force module (10) for processing workpieces, comprising: a supporting frame (12), which has at least one connecting element (26, 28) in order to fix the force module (10); a pressure element (14; 60), which is mounted such that it can move relative to the supporting frame (12) and forms a part of a ram for processing the workpieces; a drive unit (24; 46, 48; 50; 56; 62), which is mechanically connected to the pressure element (14; 60) and to a bearing section of the supporting frame in such a manner that a force can be exerted by the drive unit on the pressure element (14; 60) in order to move the pressure element relative to the supporting frame (12) to process the workpieces; wherein the supporting frame (12) has in an outer circumferential face an opening (18), through which the pressure element (14; 60) can be moved by the driving force of the drive unit (24; 46, 48; 50; 56; 62) in order to process the workpieces by means of the driving force. |
