According to one general aspect, a computational memory may comprise memory cells configured to store data and page tables, wherein the page table maps, at least in part, a virtual address to a physical address. The computational memory may also comprise at least one processor-in-memory (PIM). Each of the PIM may be configured to receive a request to execute a command for utilizing a portion of the data stored by the memory cells. The request includes the virtual address, a request for the physical address from a conversion unit, and the execution of the command utilizing the physical address. The computational memory may further include the conversion unit configured to convert the virtual address associated with a portion of the data into the physical address associated with the portion of the data, by accessing the page table for each of the PIM. The present invention provides a computational memory capable of reducing costs, resulted from time consumption and power consumption of the computational memory. |
