The present invention relates to a method for sterilizing and compressing wet laver and an apparatus for sterilizing and compressing wet laver used for the method which is capable of enhancing sterilizing power, saving time and costs for sterilization, and being easily installed without modification of a plant system. More specifically, provided is a method for sterilizing and compressing wet laver which is applied to a method for making laver sheets comprising the following steps: making a shape by putting wet laver in a mold; and making laver sheets by compressing/draining the molded laver with an elastic body coupled to a compressing device which moves vertically, and at the compressing/draining step, a certain liquid sterilizer is absorbed into the elastic body before compressing the laver with the elastic body, thereby letting the liquid sterilizer, which is absorbed into the elastic body when the laver is compressed with the elastic body, pass through the laver sheets. |
