PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product sales data processing device that can prepare correct sales data without an operation input or operation error of information about a product by an operator.SOLUTION: A product sales data processing device 100 registering sales data on an article housed in a container comprises: acquisition means (imaging unit 8) for acquiring identification information for identifying the container; measurement means (measurement unit 7) for measuring mass of the article; storage means such as a RAM 3 for storing specification information indicative of whether the container is for selling-by-measurement; and container determination means (container determination unit 101) for determining whether the container is for selling-by-measurement on the basis of the identification information for identifying the container acquired by the acquisition means and the specification information. Further, the product sales data processing device includes display means, and when the container cannot be determined by the container determination means, the display means is configured to display the container stored in the storage means as a candidate. |
