PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which estimates a film thickness with high accuracy, a film thickness estimation device, a film thickness estimation method, and a film thickness estimation program.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an estimation unit which receives a speed value indicating film thickness decreasing speed, and estimates a thickness of a film on the basis of the speed value; and a correction unit which compares a thickness measured by a measurement unit with the thickness estimated by the estimation unit to correct the speed value to be applied to the estimation unit for next estimation, on the basis of a result of comparison. |
