PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and a water treatment system capable of quickly and stably removing formaldehyde from a raw water containing formaldehyde.SOLUTION: The water treatment method includes a reaction process of adding hydrogensulfite to a raw water and reacting aldehydes contained in the raw water with the bisulfite ion under conditions of a reaction temperature of 20°C to 60°C and reaction time of 10 mins to 10 hrs. to produce α-hydroxysulfonic acid ion and a removal process of removing the α-hydroxysulfonic acid ion generated in the reaction process by using a polyamide-based reverse osmosis membrane. A water treatment system 1 is equipped with addition means 2 for conducting addition, mixing means 3 for conducting mixing, and removal means 5 and 8 for conducting removing. |
