This toilet bowl device comprises: a toilet bowl body having a bowl section; a trap section attached to the bowl section; a first power supply section; and a second power supply section. By driving a drive section, the trap section can be switched between a water-sealing state and a water-draining state. The first power supply section supplies electric power from an external power source to the drive section. The second power supply section is configured so as to be capable of supplying, to the drive section, electric power from a power source separate from said external power source. The second power supply section includes a switching section for switching between the stoppage of electric power and the suppliance of electric power to the drive section. |
