PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the time difference occurring between a signal of a main channel and a signal of an LFE channel, during production of a surround content, appropriately.SOLUTION: The time difference correction method for correcting the time difference between a main channel and an LFE channel, during production of a surround content, comprises: a time difference calculation step of calculating the time difference (amount of delay) of a signal in an LFE channel for a signal in a main channel, in a partial section of a surround content (S17); a correlation determination step of determining correlation of the signal in a main channel and the signal in an LFE channel (S18); and a time difference correction step of correcting the time difference calculated by the time difference calculation step (S22). The time difference correction step corrects the time difference only when a determination is made (S18: Yes)that there is correlation by the correlation determination step. |
