<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate type coil component capable of obtaining a high Q-value. <P>SOLUTION: A body 2 comprises: a coil part arrangement layer 2A inside of which a coil part 3 is arranged; and shape retaining layers 2B sandwiching the coil part arrangement layer 2A. The shape retaining layers 2B are made of glass ceramic containing SrO, and therefore, they have a high softening point or melting point. The coil part arrangement layer 2A having such a low softening point is sandwiched between the shape retaining layers 2B, and therefore, the coil part arrangement layer 2A is not curled during firing, and the shape of the coil part arrangement layer 2A is kept. SrO has such a characteristic that it is not diffused, and therefore, the softening point of the coil part arrangement layer 2A can be prevented from increasing due to diffusion from the shape retaining layers 2B during firing. Thus, the coil part arrangement layer 2A can be reliably made noncrystalline. As described above, the coil part arrangement layer 2A is made noncrystalline, and therefore, smoothness of surfaces of coil conductors 4, 5 can be improved to increase a Q-value of a laminate type coil component 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
