The process involves injecting a molten plastic material into a cavity around an insert portion (4) with a plastic component or the material by an injection unit of an injection molding machine to build a fiber composite or hybrid component (9). The component together with the portion is removed from a closing unit (2) by a transport device (7), where the portion remains in connected relationship with the transport device during processing the portion in a preparation station (1), transporting the portion to the closing unit and during injection of the material in the cavity. The preparation station is a heating device. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for producing a fiber composite or hybrid component. |
