[Class 131] [Also in Group I] In a hedge or grass cutter comprising a series of fixed, doubleedged teeth e, and a series of pivotally mounted double edged teeth g, the fixed teeth extend forwardly beyond the ends of the pivoting teeth to form guides to receive the grass, twigs, &c., and their edges are provided with a series of notches or serrations. Each pivoted tooth is rocked about its pivot stud f, and between a pair of fixed teeth, by connection by studs i to a rod h pivotally connected through the link j to the operating handle k. The device may be motor driven. |
