The operating system has a storage device; a stylus (1) having a projection (5); and a structure on an interior side of the storage device, on which a projection slides such that when the stylus is inserted into the storage device, the stylus rotates relative to the storage device during insertion and moves into a predetermined orientation among a group of predetermined orientations. An independent claim is also included for a method for orienting a stylus in a storage device.
