A reflective display includes a substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes mounted on the substrate, a reflective display layer mounted on the plurality of pixel electrodes, an electrode mounted on the reflective display layer, an ink fixing layer mounted on the electrode, and a color filter layer mounted on the ink fixing layer and having a plurality of pixels. Each of the pixels includes a first subpixel, a second subpixel, and a transparent third subpixel. The first subpixel includes a colored portion showing a first color. The second subpixel includes a colored portion showing a second color. The second color is complementary to the first color. When an area of the colored portion in the first subpixel is set to 1.0, an area of the colored portion in the second subpixel is set to be within a range from 0.2 to 1.0 inclusive, and an area of the third subpixel is set to be within a range from 0.5 to 8.0 inclusive. |
