PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal material having low hardness, low density and excellent sealing properties and preventing occurrence of fogging, and to provide a method of producing the seal material.SOLUTION: A method of producing a seal material includes a process of vulcanizing and foaming a mixture including a rubber component, a vulcanizing agent, a foaming agent and a urea-based foaming aid. The method of producing the seal material includes a process of heating the seal material that has been heated and foamed. The seal material produced by using the producing method is provided. |
