PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device that is small-sized and yet can package with a film a large article.SOLUTION: The packaging device packages with a film an article placed on a pedestal together with the pedestal. The packaging device comprises: a conveyance mechanism that conveys the pedestal; a guide roller that guides the film; and a heating portion. A CPU of the packaging device conveys the pedestal (S13). The CPU, when a downstream side end of the pedestal is positioned at a further downstream side than an intersection where a movement path of the guide roller intersects with a conveyance path, heats a heater of the heating portion (S19). The CPU, when the pedestal is conveyed further downstream and the upstream side end of the pedestal is positioned at a further downstream side than the intersection, moves the guide roller (S27). The CPU conveys the pedestal upstream until the upstream side end of the pedestal is positioned at a further upstream side than the intersection (S29). The CPU heats the heater (S39). |
