PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent-applied carbon fiber that has superior adhesiveness between a carbon fiber and a matrix resin and superior scratch resistance.SOLUTION: The sizing agent-applied carbon fiber is obtained by applying a sizing agent prepared by blending: 100 pts.mass of an epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups or two types or more functional groups, as a component (A); 1-50 pts.mass of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a tertiary amine compound, a tertiary amine salt, a quaternary ammonium salt, a quaternary phosphonium salt and a phosphine compound, as a component (B); and 1-50 pts.mass of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester, polyoxyalkylene and a bisphenol A alkylene oxide adduct, as a component (C), to a carbon fiber. |
