PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer sheet high in the transfer efficiency of a dyestuff and high in shelf stability in thermal transfer sheets for sublimation transfer recording.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet 11 includes a dyestuff layer 3 including a thermal transfer dyestuff and a binder resin as main components on a substrate 2, and the binder resin includes a phenoxy resin, and a ratio of the weight of the thermal transfer dyestuff to one weight of the binder resin in the dyestuff layer is in a range of 2.5-3.5. |
