<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal which can give a desired tactile feel corresponding to vibration information without being influenced by an individual difference, secular changes, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A portable information terminal 10 includes: a touch sensor 101; a vibration generating unit 106 for vibrating a touch surface 101a of the touch sensor 101 on the basis of vibration information; a storage unit 107 for storing a vibration reference value; and a control unit 105 for generating a vibration to the touch surface 101a by the vibration generating unit 106. The control unit 105 produces correction information of the vibration information by using the vibration reference value, and, when the touch sensor 101 receives an input, corrects the vibration information by the correction information to generate a vibration to the touch surface 101a by the vibration generating unit 106 on the basis of the corrected vibration information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
