An article of kitchenware consisting of a single length of an elongate member which is contorted to provide a plurality of spaced supporting portions in the form of a support structure for foodstuff in use. The elongate member may define an open ended circuit wherein the opposing ends of the elongate member are spaced apart. The elongate member may be free from any joins or welds along its length. The plurality of spaced supporting portions may be defined by a plurality of bends such that the elongate member passes back and forth in a first plane and the elongate member may be contorted to provide one or more projections, such as foot or handle portions, which depend outwardly of said plane. The elongate member may be further contoured to provide one or more contact portions for location against a receptacle such that the supporting portions are spaced from the receptacle. A removable insert may be provided for any of a cooker, oven, grill, refrigerator, freezer, pan, barbecue, tray, rack or sink consisting of the article of kitchenware. |
