The present invention relates to a scroll compressor characterized by the inner space of a rotary shaft coupling part acting on a back-pressure chamber. The scroll compressor comprises: a casing; a frame disposed in the casing; a non-orbiting scroll fixed to the frame; an orbiting scroll which performs an orbiting movement between the frame and the non-orbiting scroll and forms a pair of compressing chambers together with the non-orbiting scroll; a rotary shaft rotatably coupled to the rotary shaft coupling part by penetrating the shaft receptacle hole of the frame; and a back-pressure chamber to pressurize the orbiting scroll to a side of the non-orbiting scroll. An inner space of the rotary shaft coupling part acts as the back-pressure chamber. Accordingly, frictional loss and wear between the orbiting scroll and the non-orbiting scroll can be suppressed while preventing leakage in an axial direction of the compressing chambers by obtaining appropriate back-pressure.
