PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device head which can adjust a length in a main scanning direction of an exposure area of the light emitting device head in an array pitch unit of a light emitting device, and provide a method of manufacturing the light emitting device head.SOLUTION: A light emitting device head includes a plurality of light emitting device chips (LED chips 44) in which a plurality of light emitting devices (LEDs 45) are arrayed at a predetermined pitch. The plurality of LED chips 44 are aligned in a main scanning direction in a state that an array direction of the LEDs 45 is the main scanning direction, and positions of sub scanning directions of the adjacent LED chips 44 are different from each other, and the plurality of LED chips 44 are arranged so as to overlap positions in the main scanning directions of at least one group of LEDs 45 between at least one group of adjacent LED chips 44. |
