Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate gas lift valves 200 for use in hydrocarbon wells for artificial lift operations. One embodiment of the present disclosure is a valve 200. The valve 200 comprises a housing 201 and a bellows 232 disposed in the housing 201. A first side of the bellows is in fluid communication with an inlet 210 of the housing, and a second side of the bellows faces a closed chamber 240/250 in the housing. The valve 200 further comprises a barrier assembly 252 disposed in the closed chamber 240/250.
