According to an embodiment of the present invention, a vertical wind power generator comprises: a main body installed on the ground, in which a generator is installed; a vertical rotary shaft rotatably connected to the main body perpendicularly to the ground and connected to the generator; and a plurality of rotary vane units which comprise a first blade, a second blade having a structure identical to the first blade, a horizontal rotary shaft connecting the first blade and the second blade, and a center pillar member mounted on the vertical rotary shaft, to which the horizontal rotary shaft is rotatably connected, and provide the vertical rotary shaft with a rotational force while rotating when a wind blows. The first blade is divided into a first vane plate unit and a second vane plate unit having a weight equal to the first vale plate unit and an area larger than the area of the first vane plate unit by a portion where the horizontal rotary shaft is installed to receive a wind pressure proportional to the areas of the first and the second vane plate unit to rotate about the horizontal rotary shaft and rotate about the vertical rotary shaft. |
