Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a device for providing wireless LAN services in an electronic device and a method. The electronic device comprises: a communication interface transmitting/receiving signals for wireless LAN services; and a processor which selects multiple channels on the basis of channel scan information by using the communication interface, connects to at least one access point (AP) corresponding to at least one channel among the multiple channels, and monitors the multiple channels while maintaining a connection with at least one AP.
