The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to manufacture a deoxidizing agent for deoxidization and desulfurization to make and cast steel and, more specifically, relates to a method and an apparatus to manufacture the deoxidizing agent manufacturing the deoxidizing agent in a puck state using a metal chip made of two or more types of materials and generated when a large part is processed. According to the present invention, the deoxidizing agent is manufactured using aluminum chips and iron metal chips, which are just waste materials; the aluminum and iron chips are mixed while controlling a ratio of the aluminum to iron chips; and are placed in a compression chamber to be compressed such that the iron chips penetrate the aluminum chips to be coupled in a state of high density. Accordingly, the present invention minimizes costs to manufacture deoxidizing agent, thereby remarkably reducing manufacturing costs and allowing recycling of resources. |
