Disclosed are a liquefied gas cargo hold having a liquefied gas insulating panel structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The liquefied gas cargo hold, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an insulation panel assembly which has an insulation panel for insulating liquefied gas from the outside and a reinforcement panel fixed to the bottom of the insulation panel; and a fastening unit which fixes the insulation panel assembly to the outer wall of a hull, wherein the fastening unit comprises: a fastening insert which is fixed to the insulation panel assembly; a body part which is received and coupled to the receiving part of the fastening insert; a fastening member which is connected to the body part and has a head part protruding outward from the reinforcement panel; and a base member which is fixed to the outer wall of the hull, receives the head part of the fastening member therein, and prevents the head part of the fastening member from being separated therefrom.
