The present invention relates to a support-type insulator for an aerial distribution line, which has a variable tension adjustment structure supporting a relevant aerial service wire while moving to a position where the current tension of the relevant aerial service wire is reducible to the maximum according to a change in tension for each aerial service wire of an aerial distribution line. According to the present invention, the support-type insulator for an aerial distribution line comprises a body, a first electric wire support guide, a second electric wire support guide, a first pinion, a first rotational power generation unit, a second pinion, a second rotational power generation unit, a first electric wire tension detection unit, a second electric wire tension detection unit, and a control unit. The control unit performs a control operation of reducing a relevant aerial service wire while varying support positions of the first electric wire support guide and the second electric wire support guide with respect to an aerial service wire according to a change in tension on the basis of two electric poles adjacent to the aerial service wire. |
