The present invention provides a ceramic cutter that has a long lifespan and is capable of neat glass cutting when used for a scriber wheel or the like. According to the present invention, a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating layer is formed in the zirconia-based cutter. The cutter according to the present invention has a reduced frictional force because of coating and is capable of glass cutting while forming a smooth cutting surface. With the coating method according to the present invention, strength can be enhanced along with cutter blade lifespan, even in the event of a thin coating film, because of dense coating tissue. |
