The present disclosure relates to a boiler system (50) comprising an oxyfuel boiler (8) in which a stream of oxygen and a fuel are combusted to generate a stream (9) of flue gas, a flue gas condenser (16) for condensing the cleaned flue gas, a flue gas compression unit (20) for producing a stream (21) of pressurized carbon dioxide rich flue gas, a pressure control system (52) in which the pressure after the flue gas conditioning system (12) is measured and controlled to a predetermined set value,and a flow control system (53) in which the flow after the flue gas compression unit (20) is measured and controlled to a predetermined set value.
