Disclosed are gigabit Internet speed measuring server and method. The gigabit Internet speed measuring server is a gigabit Internet speed measuring server which is connected to first Internet equipment connected to a subscriber terminal and second Internet equipment adapted to transmit and receive traffic via a plurality of lines, the gigabit Internet speed measuring server comprising: a setting unit which, when measurement of gigabit Internet speed is requested by the subscriber terminal, fixedly sets IP addresses of the gigabit Internet speed measuring server and the subscriber terminal, i.e., a target for the measurement of gigabit Internet speed, and varies a server port and a terminal port; and a transmission unit which transmits one or more flows of gigabit Internet traffic, including the IP addresses and the ports set by the setting unit, to the second Internet equipment. The pieces of Internet equipment transfer the gigabit Internet traffic to the subscriber terminal with a transmission line for the one or more flows of gigabit Internet traffic varied for each of the ports. |
