<p>PURPOSE:To perform extremely firm bonding of an inplant to a jawbone and to provide excellent durability by a method wherein since the base part of a head is protruded in a gap between a pair of plates in a range of 1/2 or less of the overall height of a plate, it is engaged and supported internally of a recessed part formed in a jawbone and firmly held. CONSTITUTION:An inplant is of single-structure in which plates 1A and 1B the tip of each of which is formed in the shape of two arcs of circle are positioned in parallel and facing each other and integrally formed in a state that two rodform heads 2A and 2B are nipped therebetween. Base parts 2A' and 2B' of the heads 2A and 2B are protruded in a gap between a pair of the plates, and an amount (a) of the plate protruding from its upper end to below is set to approximate 2-2.5mm. Namely, the protruding amount (a) is set to a value lower than 1/2 of an overall height (b) of the plate and (a) is preferably set to a value higher than 1/5 of (b). This constitution sharply improves a fixing force to a jawbone compared with that in a case except the above and therefore, the heights (b) of the plates 1A and 1B can be set to a value lower than that of a conventional type, there is no need to form a deep groove in the jawbone, and medical treatment is facilitated.</p> |
