According to the present invention, a printing apparatus includes: a first storage unit for storing a telephone number inhibited from receiving image data; a second storage unit for storing a telephone number permitted to print image data without a print instruction from a user; and a control unit for controlling to inhibit receiving image data when a telephone number of a communication partner is stored in the first storage unit; to print image data without the print instruction from the user when the telephone number of the communication partner is stored in the second storage unit; and to print image data in accordance with the print instruction from the user when the telephone number of the communication partner does not be stored in the first storage unit and the second storage unit. |
