The present invention relates to an airbag cushion of a passenger seat for a vehicle, which comprises: an inflator generating gas; an airbag cushion deployed as the gas flows thereinto; a vent hole formed so that internal gas is partially discharged to the airbag cushion; a vent cover installed in the airbag cushion to open and close the vent hole; and a tether which is connected to the vent cover and becomes tightened according to the expansion of the airbag cushion so as to pull a portion of the vent cover. The present invention reduces the risk of a neck injury by maintaining internal pressure by blocking an airbag vent at the time of an increased risk of a neck injury after the deployment of an airbag. |
