The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of executing a plurality of application at the same time, and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a display unit for outputting, to the top screen of a first screen, the first screen and a second screen of which a part is overlapped with the first screen; and a control unit for controlling at least one transparency from a first area of the first screen where a subject corresponding to a preset event is outputted and a second area of the second screen overlapped in the first area, based on preset event occurring. |
