PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device or the like capable of preventing an electromagnetic wave noise from being discharged from a cover part, while preventing the damage of the device or the like and reduction in operability.SOLUTION: An image reading device 1 includes a first conductive member 81 which is provided in an image reading part 3 and electrically conductive to a housing 3A and a second conductive member 82 which is provided in a document cover 4 and electrically conductive to a housing 4A, which are a pair of conductive members provided so as to face each other in a predetermined position on a rotation end side in the cover part in such a state that the document cover 4 has a closing attitude, a magnetic force generation part 50 and a first magnetic force control part 54 which energize the second conductive member 82 in a direction toward a predetermined reference position where the upper surface 3A1 of the image reading part 3 and a cover surface 4B come into contact with each other, when the document cover 4 has the closing attitude, and holding parts 87 and 88 which hold the second conductive member 82, according to the fact that the document cover 4 is changed from the closing attitude to an opening attitude.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
