PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting device which prevents sheet jam occurring due to sticking of the adhesive agent of cuttings to a conveyance path and prevents reduction in cutting force of a cutting blade due to sticking of the adhesive agent to the cutting blade at the time of performing trimming cutting processing to sheet bundles continuously fed to a processing path.SOLUTION: A sheet cutting device comprises: an accumulation tray 41 which accumulates sheets into the bundle shape; a bookbinding path 33 which feeds the sheet bundle from the accumulation tray to an application position E, a bookbinding position F and a cutting position G in this order; application means E which applies the adhesive agent to the sheet bundle at the application position; binding means 61, 62 which binds the sheet bundle at the bookbinding position; cutting means 65 which performs trimming cut of the peripheral edge of the sheet bundle at the cutting position; sheet bundle conveyance means 47 which is arranged on a bundle conveyance path and feeds the sheet bundles to the downstream side sequentially; a control CPU 75 which controls the sheet bundle conveyance means and the cutting means; and cooling means 80 which cools a cutting blade 65x and the sheet bundle before trimming cut of the peripheral edge of the sheet bundle at the cutting position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
