PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member for preventing rubbing between a driving roller and a driven roller with each other.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device 10 holds and conveys a sheet by a driving roller 13 and a driven roller 24. In the sheet conveyance device 10, the driven roller 24 side includes: a support member 22 which supports the driven roller 24 to come into and out of contact with the driving roller 13 and is openable/closable with respect to the driving roller side; and a cover member 26 which is mounted on a driven roller shaft 25 so as to partially cover the driven roller via a one-way clutch 27, is brought into contact with the driving roller when the driving roller is stopped, is separated from the driving roller by an action of the one-way clutch in accordance with a reverse operation of the driving roller so as to be locked to the support member and is held in the locked state to the support member when only the driven roller is driven-rotated in accordance with a normal rotation operation of the driving roller and a sheet P is conveyed by a pair of both the rollers 13 and 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
