PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate type heat exchanger capable of easily and surely joining outer flanges to each other.SOLUTION: Heat transfer plates 1, 2 respectively include outer flanges 5, 12 disposed along outer peripheral portions, and inner flanges 6, 13 disposed inside of the outer flanges with a level difference. The heat transfer plate 1 is overlapped to the adjacent heat transfer plate 2 at their outer flanges 5, 12, and an outer peripheral edge of the outer flange 12 of the heat transfer plate 2 at one side is positioned inside with respect to an outer peripheral edge of the outer flange 5 of the heat transfer plate 1 at the other side. The outer flanges 5, 12 are joined by laser welding with a fillet welded joint 3 along the outer peripheral edge of the outer flange 12 of the heat transfer plate 2 at one side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
