摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently dissipate heat by using a direct-type back light.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device has bridges 8A and 8B fixed on the back face of a direct-type back light 3 at a predetermined interval, and a chassis base 5 fixed to the bridges 8A and 8B. A space between the back light and the chassis is partitioned into a plurality of space areas with the bridges 8A and 8B. A fan fixing member 9 is fixed to recesses provided to the bridges 8A and 8B and has cooling fans 10A, 10B, and 10C that are attached thereto to be located in the respective space areas and directly blow air to the back face of the back light 3 to dissipate heat. A power source substrate 12 is provided on the back face of the chassis base 5, and an exhaust fan 14 is fixed inclined to an opening 13 provided at an upper part of the power source substrate. A hot air trapped at upper part of the space areas and a hot air on the power source substrate 12 are exhausted to the outside by the exhaust fan 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
